SALVADOR JORGENSEN is a research scientist at the Monterey Bay Aquarium where he studies the ecology, migration and population dynamics of great white sharks. He earned a PhD in Ecology from the University of California, Davis, and a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University. He was a Fulbright scholar in Mexico in 2004 and has published over 20 peer review articles. He lives with his wife and their son in Monterey, California.
